Babbage

Babbage is the chillsynth and electronic music project of Bradley J Simons, a West Kelowna-based producer with four Juno Award nominations and nearly 5 million Spotify streams. What started as late-night experiments with synthesizers has grown into a catalog of dreamy soundscapes that blend the futurism of Daft Punk with the atmospheric textures of Tycho.

Before Babbage, Bradley spent years as a full-time guitarist, playing with bands like Tupelo Honey and Makeshift Innocence (now Forest Blakk), and running a recording studio in Edmonton, Alberta. That hands-on production background shows in every track — meticulously layered, spacious, and built to be felt as much as heard.

Mostly instrumental to date, with subtle vocal textures woven throughout, Babbage is evolving — with plans to bring more vocals into the mix and push the sound into uncharted territory.
